This article is intended for Texas parents if there are unused funds in their child’s TEFA account at the end of the school year.
Any unused funds in a child’s account will roll over to the next year as long as the child remains in the program.
Funds cannot be transferred to another child or used for non-approved expenses. Accounts become inactive once a participant graduates, withdraws, or is no longer eligible.
