This article is intended for Texas parents who relocate during the school year.
If a participating family moves within Texas, eligibility generally continues. If a family moves out of state, the student will no longer be eligible for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program and parents are required to opt out of the program no later than 30 days from the date the child becomes ineligible.
