This tutorial is for Texas schools participating in the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) Program to understand how to change or reset their Odyssey school account password.
Resetting Your Password When You Can’t Access Your Account
If you cannot log into your school’s account because you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Go to the Texas Odyssey School Portal sign-in page.
- Click “Forgot your Password?”
- Enter the email address associated with your school’s registration.
- Click [Reset Password].
In a few minutes, you will receive an email with a password reset link. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it.

Resetting Your Password When You Have Access To Your Account
Click the arrow icon on the bottom left within your school account to expand the tabs for better visibility of the functions.
- Once expanded, click the icon for [Settings].
- Enter your new password in the [New Password] field.
- Click [Save Changes] to confirm the change.
Your password will be updated immediately.
